GEOMETRY

Geometry is math course that is usually taken by students after successful completion of Algebra I.   In Florida, Geometry is a requirement for graduation. 

 

Geometry is a branch of mathematics that studies the shape and size of objects.  Much of Geometry is about measuring.  In fact, the prefix "geo" means "earth" and the suffix   "metry" means "measure."
