Algebra I is a continuation of Pre Algebra.  All of the concepts listed in Pre-Algebra are encountered in Algebra I.  Having a firm foundation in Algebra will enable the student to apply that knowledge to various math courses such as Geometry and PreCalculus.  In addition, Algebra I covers the following topics:

• Formal definition of a Function

• Graph Linear Equations

• Analyzing families of curves
