CALCULUS II

Calculus II is a continuation of the study of Calculus I.  Many students find Calculus II somewhat more difficult due to the more theoretical nature of the course.  However, if a student is persistent in reading and re-reading theorems until they understand the concepts a student will find much success in this course.  The following is a list of topics normally covered in a Calculus II course.

  • Exponential and Logarithmic Functions (may be covered in Calc I)

  • Inverse Trigonometric and Hyperbolic Functions

  • Techniques of Integration

  • Indeterminate Forms and Improper Integrals

  • Sequences and Series

  • Analytic Geometry in the Plane
